Levels of Hospital Cover

We have different levels of hospital cover so that you can find one that suits you.
There are three levels of hospital cover.

Gold	Private hospital cover with nil excess or different excess levels.
Silver	Private hospital cover with an excess and some exclusions to make them more affordable.
Bronze	Public hospital cover with nil excess or different excess levels.

You can reduce the cost of your hospital cover by choosing an excess.

Extras cover provides benefits for services like dental, optical (glasses and contact lenses), physiotherapy and chiropractic and natural therapy (see our member guide for a full list).

With extras cover you can:

• Claim towards the cost of services not covered by Medicare
• Claim on the spot using your membership card at more than 20,000 extras providers throughout Australia.
